Lifting and laying of cone-shaped concrete manholes.
The CX model ensures contact on two points on the load.
The SCX model is strengthened for intensive use and ensures contact on three points on the load.
These lifting beams are fitted with polyurethane coated pads which enable the handling of cone-shaped manholes without marking them. The CX1 includes a chain sling .
Directions for use
Use with a two-legged sling: • CX-480mm/ per leg, chain Ø 7mm • SCX-490mm/ per leg, chain Ø 7mm fitted with HR 1t shackles.
Slot the lifting beam into the narrow end of the cone-shaped manhole. Ensure the lifting beam is horizontal and carry out the lift. As the lift is applied, the polyurethane coated pads will engage and grip them inner wall diameter reduction, holding at 700mm.
To free the beam, release the tension on the sling and take the beam out of the manhole, gripping it by its ends.
Use Restrictions
Do not use on manholes whose smaller diameter exceeds 650mm. Always use the sling supplied.
Ensure the beam is correctly fitted before lifting. Operating temperature: - 20° t
