Lifting and finding the centre of gravity of out of balance loads with a rope sling.
Directions for use
To be used with a rope sling. In the free position, with the sling slack, the cable travels around the ring of the load positioner enabling the positioner to be moved and placed above the load’s centre of gravity. When lifting, the rope sling locks around the ring. If the load is too unbalanced, lower the load and slacken the sling to free the tension around the ring. Resume the operation until the position of the load’s centre of gravity is determined. Once this position has been found, the load can be moved.
Use Restrictions
Make sure the WLL and the sling angle are adhered to (see table). Use a cable within the diameter equal to or greater than the one indicated. Check the positioner can be assembled if the diameter greater. For any load positioning requiring more than two fastening points, use several load positioners. The effo rt distribution must not exceed 70% on one leg and 30% on the other one. Slings are not supplied, if needed contact us. Operating temperature: -20° to + 100° C.
