Position: Permanent
Salary: Dependant on experience

LEEA  Diplomas in Lifting Gear General and Runways and Light Cranes is preferred
Team card holder in above subjects preferred
Location: Manchester
Duties to include internal and on site testing of lifting equipment including cranes runways specialist fabrications plus standard items such as jibs, hoists, and clamps. Capable of repairs if necessary.

The Lifting Equipment Engineer will be testing and inspecting lifting equipment at the workshop and at customer sites mainly in the Greater Manchester area. This role may occasionally involve travel throughout the UK.

The ideal candidate will have experience inspecting and be testing lifting equipment and be LEEA qualified (Preferred)

Vacancy 2: Experienced crane / hoist engineer

Position: Permanent
Salary: Dependant on experience

We are looking for a team player to fill this role, someone who will be flexible and able to work to tight deadlines. You must have previous technical experience and be able to adopt a hands-on approach to all aspects of the role to ensure continued high levels of work are carried out right first time.

 Duties:

• Carrying out planned maintenance on lifting equipment
• Electrical and mechanical service, maintenance, inspection and repairs of lifting equipment
  
  

Experience Required:

• Must have knowledge of cranes and hoist systems
• Knowledge of LOLER regulations
• Experience with both electrical and mechanical fault finding
• IPAF licence/Working at Heights would be an advantage.

Location: Manchester

The Crane Engineer will be reporting to the Service Manager and will be able to investigate and diagnose faults, report findings and be able to carry out all repairs to the current manufacturers standards. In the workshop and at customer sites mainly in the Greater Manchester area. This role may occasionally involve travel throughout the UK.
